Very interesting piece and makes kind of a paradoxical social comment of sorts. I feel that the lime green light source in the back is way to strong and I think if that was muted down a bit it would let the character been seen a little better as that bright color is very dominating.

Great! Good point, it's a nice way to show the idea of an inactive human being being flooded with Nature, which is strugling to get the empty place... Well, I agree, the backlight may be too strong.
